'In 1599 India was a wealthy country producing a quarter of the world's output, here in England, we were producing three percent. Over the 200 years, The East India Company engaged with India, those two percentages were reversed.'
This is a filmed walking theatre, set in The City of London which is funded by The National Heritage Fund among others, telling the stories of The East India Company and showing how history gets layered in the streets.
